As a continuation of my public notebook: I started a new daily blogging challenge to begin solidifying the learning that I’m doing while training jiu jitsu. 

Notes: Friday July 19th

Today was not the most exciting day–I stayed home in order to do a full stretch-out. I also did basic mobility drills and got my heart rate up as well.

Knowing my body, I felt that it was more important than going in to train.

And I was right! I had a lack of mobility in my hip, more than I had realized. I was able to stretch enough that I popped the tension open. Restoring full range of motion in my leg.

I should be stretching more than I do, and these days are of huge importance to development even though they’re not the most exciting.
