As a continuation of my public notebook: I started a new daily blogging challenge to begin solidifying the learning that I’m doing while training jiu jitsu.

Double Leg Takedowns 

Sunday was spent breaking down the mechanics of the double leg.

  • Shooting.
  • Keeping body upright.
  • Shoulder to hip.
  • Lifting off the ground.
  • Ear turn. 

We also did a re-guard from bottom mount:

Get a butterfly hook under their ankle, extend your leg straight, and roll.
