As a continuation of my public notebook: I started a new daily blogging challenge to begin solidifying the learning that I’m doing while training jiu jitsu.

Review
- Blocking choke. Drop to base and turtle neck. Put one foot backwards to maintain base. Swing head in direction hips are facing fast downwards and under arms. Hit to the head with back hand.
- Hip toss blocking choke. C clamp under their elbows. Take a step in, with the same arm throw up an elbow to the face. Scoop up the other arm in clinch. Move in for the hip toss with feet inside theirs.
- Wrist break blocking choke. Drop to base while C-clamping one of their wrists top hand closer to body, bottom hand underneath and behind. Clamp their arm to the top of your body. 3 steps. One, same-side outside foot close to theirs. Two, back foot through to the outside of their body pivot. Three, first foot steps back to face them. Grab meat of hand and break.
- Wall blocking choke. Base down. Search hands for finger. Isolate one, turn your grip thumb down. Drop in base while pulling finger down to break finger.
Material
- Shrimp escape. Getting to hip leg flat to ground. Opposite arm up, ear to chest. Push knee in and collect. Control head, monitor punches with other hand. Hip shoulder through to guide bottom knee in and around to guard. Clinch.
- Hands on throat trap and roll. If they are in mount with their hands on your throat—collect and secure one arm to their body with outside hand on elbow and inside hand grabbing wrist. Trap foot and bridge upwards??? Confusing with clinch escape?
- Head turn trap and roll. You go to shrimp out, they don’t like that and hold around your head tight. Trap same side foot as their arm. Grip their arm with your same arm. High five god with your opposite hand and bridge hard over shoulder. Clinch series from guard.
- Hands on throat knee out
- Pressure elbow to throat trap and roll. Heavy forward pressure into your throat. C clamp their arm. Trap foot. Roll.
- Base knee out, shrimp.
Spiral out of scissor sweeps!!!!
