As a continuation of my public notebook: I started a new daily blogging challenge to begin solidifying the learning that I’m doing while training jiu jitsu.

Notes: Wednesday December 4th

-On mount, foot across their neck– lift up head to choke 

-Grabbing lapel low and scissoring hands instead of readjusting grip

  • warm ups abs 
  • Back take, they slide off, you post up with shoulder/head put bottom knee to their shoulder, and roll to other shoulder to scoop them back up.
  • Back take to shoulder/lapel grip, they slide off towards choking side, transition to quarter guard and employ drag principle. Flip them over with butterfly hook to let them go when you’re ready, slide up to choke. Same movement as beginning warmup. & Scissoring back hand. 
  • Bow and arrow choke from back
