I am Olivia Crowley, a digital marketer that deeply identifies with the mission of Jiu Jitsu.

I’ve always felt drawn into forging my own unique path. I love learning, and doing things my own way. Because of this–I was never interested in the seemingly stale environment of university, and instead chose to seek professional mentorship through the Praxis Program.

Since graduating in April 2024–this decision, and the jobs that followed, have allowed me to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, website design, logo design, copywriting, and growth marketing.

As I graduated from the Praxis Program in April 2024, I also stumbled upon my love for Jiu Jitsu. I dove headfirst into the art and welcomed the substantial growth I have witnessed in my life after beginning. Here’s a snapshot into how my past year has played out:

I walked into a gym for the first time on February 8th, 2024. Since beginning, I’ve travelled to Fullerton, CA to train with Erik Paulson, won gold in my first competition, met & travelled to Gallarate, Italy to train with Margherita Montes and Alberto Gallazzi, was awarded my blue belt, and then competed for the first time at blue to win silver.

The long game,

I firmly believe in the transformative power of Jiu Jitsu for individuals of all backgrounds. While I am on a decade-long mission to black belt, I aim to not treat it as a transitionary period in my life. I am committed to enjoying my hodgepodge group of interests and finding new ways to connect them–leveraging my experience in marketing to advance my mission professionally & personally.
